The weather could not have been better for the Sports Car Club of America's (SCCA) first event at Nassau Coliseum this year. Among the 120 or so competitors were LIME's Rick Little, Vitto Roca, Kevin Drolet, and Marty Ferillo.
The SCCA did a fine job of getting Novice drivers started with course walk-thus with an instructor and even offered any one who requested an Instructor to ride with them on their runs. The LIME Team did the Mini marque proud. Bob Rath is planning on running his pickup sometime this season and I know that is going to be a crowd pleaser.
Ray Maramara and I were also scheduled to run, but both of us were late in getting our Minis ready and are now chomping at the bit for the next event...
