LIMEs first annual Pot Luck Lime meeting was held at Al's Garage Den in Smithtown. 14 members including Richard Green from Massachusetts, on his way to a Mets game, Al Della Fera in his magnificent black SPI driven from Brooklyn, Vitto Roca & Charlie Auer from Staten Island, Rick Little and Ken Granieri with their Lotus 7s, and Graham Mingst who was awarded a copy of the October Mini Magazine that featured the Mingst Family at the 2005 Mini Mini Meet East in Ohio.
Those able to make the 6pm departure toured the twisty back roads of Nissequoge, Head of the Harbor and Stony Brook and returned to Al's home just as it got dark at 7pm. Al made a 2 gallon vat of his Super Bowl of Chili. Only 1 gallon was consumed as everyone had brought a great variety of dishes. Al ate leftovers for several days.
